HIGHLIGHT INGREDIENTS:
• Silica : Recognized for its exceptional absorbency, the mineral silica participates in the
regeneration of sebum and the hydration of the skin. Silica gives a matte and velvety feel to the
skin and blurs wrinkles and imperfections.
• Bamboo powder: It is a white substance extracted from the joints of bamboo. Thanks to its high
silica content, it remineralizes, hydrates and participates in the regeneration of your skin while
reducing the shine of combination and oily skin.
• Organic cocoa butter: Cocoa butter protects the skin from external aggressions. It helps to
maintain hydration because it slows the loss of water by forming a barrier on the surface of the
epidermis. It has been used for centuries in Africa as a preventive care to provide suppleness to
the skin and also in curative care against dryness.

Named after the Buddhism expressions and branches ZEN and TAO, based on the observation on nature, Zao make up was created in 2012 by 4 friends, convinced that a line of makeup must use natural packaging, whilst wishing to incorporate the graceful bamboo plant.
Bamboo makes up the identify of the Zao brand, with its rich ingredients making up the makeup itself, and the packaging being made from the carbon-capturing plant, which in turn allows Zao products to contribute to a reduced carbon footprint.
Certified organic, vegan and cruelty-free, the make up range is designed to come in the most minimal amount of plastic packaging as currently possible to remain in line with health & safety regulations in the beauty industry. Where possible, refills are on offer to refill your bamboo bases and cases, also saving on the additional cost of unnecessary packaging!
